The cumulative imports value from January to May is 39.09 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%. In addition, the export of major medical commodities also showed a positive trend during the same period, with an export value of 40.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%.
Yang Jianlong, deputy secretary-general of the China Medical Devices Association, said that the import and export trade of medical devices is generally good this year. Under the favorable global environment, domestic medical devices are constantly improving in terms of quality, performance, and cost performance.
